THE PUBLICATION

Our editorial standards.

Every brief should explain what happened, why it matters and what the evidence establishes. We distinguish news, explainers, company statements and editorial interpretation.

Sources before speed

We follow original documents from public authorities, protocol teams, researchers and company newsrooms. Company claims remain attributed. Consequential allegations need independent corroboration; unresolved reports are withheld. Explore our sources and global coverage.

Compelling, accurate headlines

A headline should make the practical stakes clear. It must not exaggerate losses, imply guaranteed returns, convert a proposal into a law or describe a pilot as mass adoption. Our reporting adds international context and explains terms without padding.

Automation, openly disclosed

AI helps discover developments and write original accounts. Checks enforce source links, dates, structure and duplicate protection. These checks do not replace human editorial judgment. Articles do not imply human review unless it actually occurred.

Reader interest with room to discover

Consent-based reading signals can inform topic selection once a topic has enough observations. They are estimates and may still include sophisticated automated traffic. We reserve part of the editorial mix for emerging or overlooked subjects, and do not use popularity to override evidence or public relevance.

Original reporting and imagery

We write original English briefs from verified information. Translated sources are identified and credited; full translations require reuse permission. Each article has its own original conceptual illustration. Images are editorial artwork and do not depict an observed event or provide market data.

Corrections and commercial influence

Material corrections include a dated explanation while preserving the original publication date. Paid placements, affiliate relationships and sponsors must be clearly disclosed. Reader-interest measures cannot be purchased as editorial placement.
